Many people are greatly disappointed in life because they’ve bought into the distorted IMAGES, MOVIES and ADVERTISEMENTS of life, present it as “perfect” or at the very least, “simple and lacking personal responsibility”. Life is messy and your attitude and reactions make an impact on your well-being and the well-being of others.
Rather than wish things were different, take steps to make it different and change the way you react or view them. Psychologist Wayne Dyer quote reflects a powerful message: ‘Loving people live in a loving world. Hostile people live in a hostile world. Same world.’
Aim to become emotionally self-reliant. Also, slow down and take time to breathe, enjoy clearing your mind and emotions by doing nothing and letting go of negative thoughts. TCOY Challenge – Do nothing for 2-minutes.
